Growing up as a young girl, I was very passionate about two things: playing with my mum's makeup and the game of chess. I remember at school my teacher telling me off for wearing a black eye liner and mascara at the age of eleven.

During my professional career as a chess player, I became twice a world champion under the age of sixteen and eighteen, won the Australian Women's Championship for two years in a row and earned the International Title FIDE Master.
In 1990, I completed Elly Lukas Modelling Personality Course. I worked for Estee Lauder for over five years and Chanel for over six years. For Chanel I did establish two of their main accounts, the first one at Myer Highpoint and the second one at David Jones Melbourne.
